THE PSALM 83 WAR

It would behoove you to get familiar with Psalm 83. It is a prophecy of an upcoming war between Israel and her neighbors. Here is a link to the map of the peoples in this ancient text:

I believe this war is on the brink of happening right now.  One small spark could set it off in a flash fire.  And it could also bring about the prophecy of Isaiah 17:1-3, the Burden of Damascus.

Here is Psalm 83 in it's entirety:

1 O God, do not remain silent;
do not turn a deaf ear,
do not stand aloof, O God.
2 See how your enemies growl,
how your foes rear their heads.
3 With cunning they conspire against your people;
they plot against those you cherish.
4 “Come,” they say, “let us destroy them as a nation,
so that Israel’s name is remembered no more.”
 5 With one mind they plot together;
they form an alliance against you—
6 the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites,
   of Moab and the Hagrites,
7 Byblos, Ammon and Amalek,
Philistia, with the people of Tyre.
8 Even Assyria has joined them
   to reinforce Lot’s descendants.[b]
9 Do to them as you did to Midian,
as you did to Sisera and Jabin at the river Kishon,
10 who perished at Endor
and became like dung on the ground.
11 Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb,
all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,
12 who said, “Let us take possession
   of the pasturelands of God.”
13 Make them like tumbleweed, my God,
   like chaff before the wind.
14 As fire consumes the forest
or a flame sets the mountains ablaze,
15 so pursue them with your tempest
and terrify them with your storm.
16 Cover their faces with shame, LORD,
so that they will seek your name.
 17 May they ever be ashamed and dismayed;
   may they perish in disgrace.
18 Let them know that you, whose name is the LORD—
that you alone are the Most High over all the earth.

This war is going to be what convinces Israel their God fights for them.  God is going to somehow supernaturally intervene OR make an impossible situation become a miraculous victory for Israel.

Here is the prophecy in Isaiah 17:1-3:

1 A prophecy against Damascus:
“See, Damascus will no longer be a city
but will become a heap of ruins.
2 The cities of Aroer will be deserted
and left to flocks, which will lie down,
with no one to make them afraid.
3 The fortified city will disappear from Ephraim,
   and royal power from Damascus;
the remnant of Aram will be
like the glory of the Israelites,”
            declares the LORD Almighty.

Since Damascus has been a city for thousands of years and never a "ruinous heap", we know this prophecy is still forthcoming.  Considering the upheaval in Syria right now, it's not a far stretch to think we'll be seeing this prophecy very soon.

As the following video points out, could the uniting of Fatah and Hamas, and this "Third Intifada" that's being called for on May 15th across the Arab world, and the flotilla approaching Israel be the beginning of the prophetic Psalm 83 war?  If ailing Arab countries like Syria are desperate enough to unite their people, they could join in and declare war just to take the focus off ousting President Assad.

Keep your eyes open in the next two weeks, folks.  Things could get real ugly real fast.

Rest in Peace David Wilkerson

David Wilkerson, a strong, staunch man of God, recently passed away, having been involved in a serious car accident. His wife is alive, but in very critical condition. Please send up a prayer for her as she begins her road to recovery.

And watch this video on one of Wilkerson's sermons. It is called "A Cry to Anguish". This video is for everyone who wonders why God allows bad things to happen. This video is for everyone who wonders why God would be so "cruel" as to send a Tribulation to test the unbelievers and the lukewarm.

It's very powerful. Only watch the video if you're ready to hear it.

Excellent Study on Psalm 83 & Gog/Magog War

I came across a wonderful website full of all kinds of information on the Rapture and the Second Coming.  It's called Amy's Speculation Corner, and I've asked Amy's permission to post her link.  I found her study of the Psalm 83 war as well as the Gog/Magog war spoken of in Ezekiel to be extremely in-depth and eye-opening.

http://www.trackingbibleprophecy.com/speculation.php

Amy gives cross references to the prophecy Scriptures and a few maps of what the landscape looks like according to prophecy.  Grab a cup of coffee and read the entire study.  Very informative!

Mark Biltz Feast of Trumpets -- 1hr 16 min 18 seconds

Excellent preaching from Mark Biltz, the very man who "discovered" the future 2014/2015 lunar tetrads to come on Passover & Sukkot of each year. This teaches the parallels of the Jewish feasts according to the Rapture and Second Coming, using both Old and New Testament verses. It's an hour and sixteen minutes long, but VERY eye-opening for those who are fascinated with the Biblical parallels to the Rapture/Second Coming according to the fall Jewish Feasts.

Not only does he go into the Scripture and what it says, he also explains WHY the Jews celebrate the Feasts, what certain Jewish words actually mean, and how they all tie together. You don't want to miss this one.

The Purpose for the Trib and the 24 Elders of Revelation

Here are two videos that are only audio tracks of John MacArthur.  The first one shows WHY God sends the Tribulation and who it's for.  It's only 5 minutes.

The second video (wouldn't let me embed, so it's just a link) outlines who MacArthur believes the 24 elders are that John sees, and reasons why.  Fascinating.  Only 3:33 minutes.  Give them a watch.  I have to say the teaching on the elders is the most convincing I've heard for why MacArthur believes as he does.

HE IS RISEN!

Happy Easter, one and all. As we celebrate Easter today, let us not forget that the resurrection of Christ is the reason why we're Christians, it's the validation of our faith, and the promise of our resurrection to come.

Why the Division of Jerusalem is SO Important!

This is a video from Firecharger, a popular Christian poster to YouTube. He's a normal guy, who drives trucks for a living, hence the backdrop to this video. But I agree with everything he's said in any given video, and I thought I'd post this one, seen as how I've mentioned Palestine and dividing Jerusalem more than a few times.

Also, he goes into what it means for us spiritually, not just politically.

All of These Stories Are on the Front Page of Haaretz.com

UN urges bold steps to relaunch Mideast peace talks

Abbas: U.S. would be illogical to block independent Palestinian state at UN

Palestinians urge Quartet to endorse European Mideast peace initiative

Turkey: Israel-Palestinian peace will decide fate of Arab uprising

~*~*~

The Palestinian state is happening this year whether by peace or by force.  According to the Bible, it's by peace -- a seven year covenant with many (Daniel 9:27).  It seems Obama and Clinton are hastily scribbling a new "plan", having condemned the "state by force option" the PA plans in September.

http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/04/13/us-palestinians-israel-obama-idUSTRE73C05V20110413

According to the prophet Daniel, the one who confirms the covenant is the Antichrist.  But before the Antichrist can be revealed, according to Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2:5-8, the Restrainer must be taken out of the way.  That Restrainer is the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit indwells the heart of every believer.

Therefore, the Church must be gone before the AC is revealed.  And if this peace accord IS the peace accord of Daniel's prophecy, then the Rapture is right around the corner folks.

Make your peace before God's Age of Grace comes to a close.

Its the Holy Spirit that Holds Back the Antichrist

Read this article. It's awesome, and I agree wholeheartedly with it.  It's an in-depth study of what Paul says in 2 Thessalonians.

http://hearkenthewatchmen.com/article.asp?id=512

"It is not an apostasy that is holding the Antichrist back. If anything, an apostasy should hasten his arrival. It is the presence of the Holy Spirit indwelling the Church of God on this earth which is preventing the Beast from ascending out of the Abyss at this present time. But when the Church departs, then the man of sin will no longer be held back and will be revealed."

3rd Temple Blueprints

Well, here they are, the blueprints of the 3rd Temple of God, just waiting to be built.  The Jews have the implements made, the priests are being educated, the Sanhedrin are selected, all they need...is the green light to build it.  Along with the blueprints is a video of a 3D rendition of the Sanhedrin's Chamber of Hewn Stone.

It's chilling in a way, knowing that one day, the Antichrist will stand there, proclaiming himself as God...

Parable of the Fig Tree

Here are more videos by Perry Stone regarding the words Jesus spoke in Matthew 24 regarding the fig tree and how it ties into the Song of Solomon.  The third video's teaching cuts off about 40 seconds in, so you don't have to watch it for very long.  I hope you find it as interesting as I did.

Birth Certificate of Statehood

http://www.haaretz.com/news/diplomacy-defense/palestinians-hail-international-birth-certificate-of-statehood-1.355821

With the rate things are going, the PA asking the UN to recognize Palestine as a state in September might just be a bunch of red tape...

Many people believe in a spring "First Fruits" Rapture, according to Song of Solomon.  "Arise, my love" is similar verbiage to "Come up hither" used in Revelation 4:1 (widely believed a picture of the Rapture with the door in Heaven), and also outlines the fig tree (picture of Israel) just as Christ did in Matthew 24.

Could the Rapture be in spring?  Who knows.  But at the rate things are happening, it gives new meaning to Christ's words, "Behold, I am coming quickly."

A Website For Lunar Tetrads in History

Here's an interesting website I found called Red Moon Rapture:

http://redmoonrapture.com/

It highlights the lunar tetrads (four blood-red eclipses in a row) throughout history that landed on Jewish Feast days and the important events that happened to the Jews at that time.

I do believe the coming tetrad in '14-'15 will be something significant, but I do not believe it will be the Rapture of the church.  I could be wrong, but I believe it will be the marking of the Abomination of Desolation by the AC.  The church will be long gone by then, IMO.

Why?

Well, if we take the prophecy in the book of Daniel, of how the AC will make a "covenant with many for one week" (7 years) and in the middle of that 7 years, break this treaty with the Abomination of Desolation (Daniel 9:27), and if the tetrad marks the AoD, then 3 1/2 years before then is... September 2011.

What happens in September, 2011?

Rosh Hoshanah, a possible Rapture candidate - Sept. 29th/Sept. 30 (http://meethimintheair.blogspot.com/2011/03/everything-is-prophetic-picture.html)

Revelation 12:1-2 star sign - Sept. 29th (http://meethimintheair.blogspot.com/2011/03/putting-it-all-together.html)

Comet Elenin does a CLOSE Earth fly-by - Sept. 2011 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C/2010_X1)

According to Muslim Prophecy, the herald of the Mahdi needs 72 months to prepare for his coming. If Ahmedinijad is this "herald" as he believes, he took office in August of 2005. 72 months later is Aug/Sept of 2011. (http://meethimintheair.blogspot.com/2011/04/comparing-muslim-prophecy-with-bible.html)

The Palestinian Authority is going before the UN to ask for a unilateral recognition of a Palestinian state, bypassing peace process with Israel - Sept. 2011

If the Rapture does NOT take place on or before September, 2011, we can AT LEAST expect to see God raging at the nations of Earth for dividing Jerusalem.  http://meethimintheair.blogspot.com/2011/03/jerusalem-divided.html

This is going to be a crazy, crazy year.

The Grim Reality of the Last Days

An amazing, recent sermon by John MacArthur, that covers the words of Jesus about the end times in Mark 13, as well as parallel it to current events. He also covers the Muslim eschatology of their Mahdi and how he correlates to the Antichrist. It's an hour and seventeen minutes long, but I love listening to this man teach. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Comparing Muslim Prophecy with Bible Prophecy

Here is another prophecy video from Calvary Chapel Kaneohe in Hawaii. In it, the pastor, JD, compares the Islamic prophecy spoken of in the video I shared with you last week with Bible prophecy. It is an eye-opening video to the obvious parallels you might not have realized.

The video is very quiet for the first 15-20 seconds, but after that, the microphone feed is turned on and you can listen like normal. Watch to the end. I love this guy!

A Visual Representation of How Christ Rescues Us

I found this video randomly, but it is a must watch. To anyone who's had a tough time explaining what it's like to be a believer in Christ, you NEED to show them this. Watch the entire video. By the end, I was crying. Even when we're at the end of our rope, Christ saves us.

To any unbelievers reading this blog, there is always Hope, no matter how hopeless things seem. All you need to do is cry out to Him to save you.

What if There is No Resurrection?

Here is an hour long sermon from John MacArthur on the resurrection of Christ, and how it validates a resurrection of believers (the Rapture).  The entire teaching is powerful, but if you're in a hurry, just watch part 2, as it jumps right in and rehashes a few things from part 1 so you won't be lost.

Messianic Praise

I don't know about you, but I absolutely ADORE Messianic praise music.  What is that, you ask?  It's Christian music set to a "Jewish"-type beat.  A lot of times, it revolves around Old Testament Scripture verses, alluding to the fact Christ is the Messiah.

These first two songs I'm showing you today are by a guy named Randy Rothwell.  He recorded these songs in... 1990 I believe.  The last one is by Paul Wilbur called "Days of Elijah".  You might be familiar with Twila Paris's version, but Paul's is so much better!  And very apropos for this blog. :)

BUT I LOVE THESE SONGS!  \O/  I have these albums on my iPod and whenever these songs come on, I crank it!  LOL  My kids think it's a little strange, but there's just something about this kind of praise music that makes me happy.  I want to get up and dance with a bunch of people!  I thought you might like it as well.  :)  Enjoy!

Excellent Teaching on the Fig Tree and "This Generation"

If you want to do an in-depth study of what Jesus spoke of in Matthew 24, check out this website:

Are We the Final Generation? - A Lesson from the Fig Tree

This article goes into why the "fig tree" mentioned by Jesus is a picture of Israel, what he meant, and how we are living in the "generation" he spoke of.

It's a long, but fascinating read.

"The Coming is Upon Us" - The Islamic Mahdi

This video is Iranian propaganda which explains some key prophecies from their Hadith regarding the final 12th Imam, or Mahdi, as they call him. Many Christian scholars believe this Mahdi figure is the Antichrist of the book of Daniel and Revelation.

It's 28 minutes long and doesn't really get started until about 2 1/2 minutes in. It doesn't translate every word on the screen, but it translates enough to understand it. In a nutshell, the leaders of Iran, both political and religious, believe they are the ones prophesied in the Hadith that will usher in the age of the Mahdi.

If you don't understand why the Muslims believe we're living in their "end of days" just as the Christians do, then give this video a watch and educate yourself.

Personally, it amazes me that the prophecies of Muhammad and the prophecies of the Bible are lining up. Right now. At the same time.

Read Psalm 83. Powerful stuff. It doesn't look like these folks will be successful in wiping Israel off the map...

Will the Rapture Itself Fulfill Certain Tribulation Prophecies?

I've often wondered whether the pre-Trib Rapture itself will usher in the Bible prophecies about the end times.  If you have a read through Revelation, Daniel, Ezekiel & Joel, you'll learn about the end times, the Antichrist, and what he has a mind to do.

We know there will one day be a one world government and the AC will rule it.  We're moving toward that goal already, but we're not quite there.  The dollar is tanking, economies are not good at all, we might one day get there.

Another thing is the mark of the Beast.  I don't believe the AC will force people to get it.  I think people will line up for it.

But why?

To me, the Rapture is the only thing that makes sense.  Imagine, suddenly, Christ appears in the clouds, the dead rise from their graves, all believers are gone and suddenly the world is left with millions of people who have disappeared--all over the globe.  There will be disasters, certainly.  Car accidents--no more Christian drivers.  Plane crashes probably.  Wildfires from perhaps campfires of Christians that are no longer being watched.  Factories or maybe even nuclear facilities might suddenly have workers missing and go into emergency mode.  The electric company might have black outs due to missing workers.  The list goes on.  And it will be world-wide, because Christians are everywhere.

A sudden disappearance of these people would make those left behind very scared, in my opinion.  There will be theories of alien abductions, other abductions, suicides, missing persons, etc.  But people will deny the fact that even though they saw Christ in the clouds, they couldn't possibly have witnessed what they did.  Ever hear of Project Bluebeam?  Conspiracy theorists out there believe the government is planning some "fake" Rapture hologram in the sky.  Google it.  I'm serious.  I'm not saying *I* believe this, but for non-believers, it will be easier to believe the gov't put a hologram in the sky than believe they saw Jesus Christ in the clouds taking His Church.

With all these supposed disasters that might happen, individual countries might not be able to handle them on their own.  Other countries will be dealing with the same issues and might not be able to give them aid.  A solution could be a global government in order to make it possible for funds to be used globally for these disasters.

And if the mark of the Beast *is* this RFID chip that can be implanted under the skin, could the AC trick people into getting them because their loved ones disappeared and no one knows where they are?  If the global gov't knows where you are at all times, then you can't be "abducted" or "go missing" like the millions of people before you.

It makes sense to me.  I mean, if that many people disappear, that might be the tipping point for economies to finally collapse globally, so that people are forced to make a new global currency.  Obviously I don't know if this will actually happen and I will never know, because I plan on being one of those "abducted", but know this -- if I ever go missing along with my family and millions of others, we were NOT abducted by aliens.  We did NOT commit suicide.  We did NOT go into the mountains or change our identities or anything else.

We were Raptured by Jesus Christ FULL STOP.

Tribulation Prophecies

This is Darrell Myatt, a man I sometimes watch on YouTube. He's a normal guy who happens to know a lot about the Bible, so he's not a preacher. However, in this video, he outlines a lot of different passages in the Bible about what one can expect to happen with the Antichrist, what he's going to do, and what God is going to do during the Tribulation.

He gives every Bible verse he reads, and it's fascinating to read along with him on www.biblegateway.com if you're a fast typer. :P He's reading out of the New King James Version if you're interested in reading the exact version with him.

Anyway, it's a fascinating study. It's almost 25 minutes long and I usually try to watch his shorter videos, but this one had me listening the whole way through.
