Israel, Iran, and America in Bible Prophecy

Here's a recent study from Pastor Greg Laurie of Harvest Church in California on the Book of Revelation, also with prophecies from Ezekiel, and a peppering of Zechariah, to illustrate we are indeed living in the Last Days.

SEPT. 23, WORLDWIDE JEWISH PRAYER FOR PEACE WITH MASHIACH

WOW! When the Jews collectively ask God for their Mashiach, He will hear them!  This is amazing -- and another proof we're living in the last days.  The Temple they so wish to build WILL BE the Tribulation Temple.

"If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land." ~~2 Chronicles 7:14

"For I tell you, you will not see me again, until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’” ~~Matthew 23:39

I say we as Christians, the Bride of Christ, should likewise pray with them.  We also wish for the return of Yeshua HaMashiach!  It's Sept. 23rd at 8am PST.  I'M IN.

Yahweh will fight for His people.

The "Last Trump" EXPLAINED & REVEALED! - A Rapture Bible Study [FULL]

My friend and brother in Christ, Scottie, has put together a great study about the Last Trump and the Rapture as compared to the trumps in Revelation and the Second Coming of Yeshua.

It's quite a long study, 50 minutes, but he goes into the feasts of the Jews and how they relate to God's timetable of events. Give it a watch, he did a GREAT job!

The Rapture in the Old Testament

Perhaps some of the strongest arguments in favor of a Pre-Tribulation or Pre-Seventieth Week of Daniel Rapture are found in the Old Testament. In the Old Testament we see "a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things" (Hebrews 10:1).
Prophetic Types in the Old Testament
The Holy Spirit explains that these Old Testament types are preserved for our learning:
"For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope" (Romans 15:4).
"Now all these things happened to them (Old Testament characters) as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come" (1 Corinthians 10:11).
Bible students are well aware that there are numerous Old Testament types that foreshadow a New Testament fulfillment. A classic example is when Abraham took his son, his only son Isaac, whom he greatly loved, to the land of Moriah to offer him there as a sacrifice — concluding that God was able to raise him from the dead (Genesis 22; Hebrews 11:17-19). Abraham is a beautiful type of our heavenly Father, and Isaac, his beloved son, is a striking picture of Jesus, who willingly laid down His life on Mount Moriah 2,000 years later.
Though the Rapture was hidden in part from Old Testament believers, the types found throughout foreshadow a future Rapture when God will remove His people prior to pouring out His wrath on a Christ-rejecting world. Let's now review some of these beautiful types that foreshadow the Rapture.
The Noahic Flood
In Noah's day there were those who passed through the flood (Noah and his family in the ark); there were those who perished in the flood (the unbelieving world); and there was Enoch who was "translated" or "caught up" before the judgment of God was poured out. Enoch walked with God (Genesis 5:24) and pleased Him (Hebrews 11:5), just as Christians who abide in Christ please God (1 John 3:22). Interestingly, from the time God told Noah to enter the ark, until the time when the waters of the flood were on the earth, God granted seven more days for the world to repent (Genesis 7:1-10). Perhaps this is a foreshadow of the final seven-year period culminating in the final judgment (Revelation 19:11-21)?
The Destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah
In Lot's day, he and his family were "removed" before God rained down His judgment on Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 19). God did not just "preserve" them through His wrath, He removed them prior to judgment. Jesus said that just before His return it would be like the days of Noah (Luke 17:26) and like the days of Lot (Luke 17:28).
Judgment in Sodom could not occur until Lot was removed (Genesis 19:22)! Remarkably, "while [Lot] lingered, the [angels] took hold of his hand, his wife's hand, and the hands of his two daughters, the Lord being merciful to him, and they brought him out and set him outside the city... Hurry, escape there. For I cannot do anything until you arrive there" (v. 16, 22). In other words, they were forcibly removed prior to judgment and judgment could not commence until they safely arrived in the new city!
The Story of Joseph
Joseph (a type of Christ in many ways) takes a Gentile bride before the 7 year famine begins (Genesis 41:45). Notice in the account of Joseph that after he received his Gentile bride, his brethren (the Israelites) and the entire world suffered a seven year famine (Genesis 41:54-57). During this time of famine many came to Joseph for food. Similarly, after Jesus receives His Bride, his brethren the Jews (and many in the world), will turn to the Lord Jesus for relief (Revelation 7).
How fitting that the Great Tribulation is called "the time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it" (Jeremiah 30:7). It is also referred to as "the time of the Gentiles" (Ezekiel 30:3), and many Gentiles will also be saved out of it (Revelation 7). The famine is a type of the Tribulation (Amos 8:11), and Egypt is a picture of the world. This account strongly suggests that Jesus will receive His bride before the 70th Week of Daniel — before the famine that will come upon the entire world.
Rahab and the Jewish Spies
In Joshua chapter 2, Rahab trusts the Lord and befriends the Jewish spies. By faith Rahab puts a scarlet thread in her window (a symbol of Christ's blood) and she and her family are "brought out" of Jericho before the city is burned with fire (Joshua 6). Rahab is a prostitute (Hebrews 11:31) and a Gentile woman (Joshua 2), yet she is found in the Messianic line (Matthew 1:5). Rahab is therefore a beautiful picture of the Church as the bride of Christ. Though formerly a prostitute, Rahab, by faith, was made clean and delivered from God's wrath. Amazingly, in this account, we again see seven days of warning preceding judgment (God's gracious delay to encourage repentance). The armies of God marched around the city six days, and on the seventh day they marched around the city seven times, and then the city was finally destroyed (Joshua 6).
Abigail and David
In 1 Samuel 25:39-42 Abigail is informed that King David (foreshadowing King Jesus) wants to take her as his bride. She immediately responds and "rose in haste" with five of her damsels to "depart" and go to David for the marriage. Compare this with Matthew 25:1-13 where five wise virgins who truly had oil went forth to meet the Bridegroom (Jesus) away from their dwelling place (earth). Interestingly, the name Abigail means "the Father's joy."
Solomon's Song
The Song of Solomon is an amazing picture of Christ and His Church (Ephesians 5:29-32). In the Song of Solomon 2:8-13, the Bride (the Church) hears the voice of her Beloved (Jesus) coming for her. Then, in verses 10 and 13, the Bridegroom speaks and calls His bride to "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." This is a beautiful foreshadow of our marriage and honeymoon in heaven!
Isaiah's Hint
Isaiah 26:20-21 also gives us a possible picture of the Rapture preceding the Tribulation:
"Come, my people, enter your chambers, and shut your doors behind you; hide yourself, as it were, for a little moment, until the indignation is past. For behold, the LORD comes out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity; the earth will also disclose her blood, and will no more cover her slain."
Apparently, believers are tucked away in Heaven before the Tribulation falls on the earth. Could this also apply to the Jews who hide away in Petra during the Tribulation?
The Prophet Daniel
In Daniel chapter 3, King Nebuchadnezzar (a type of the Antichrist, cf. Revelation 13) demands that the entire population bow down to his image. Daniel's three friends (Jews) are preserved through the fiery tribulation, but Daniel is nowhere to be found. Daniel was "ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief administrator over all the wise men of Babylon" (Daniel 2:48), yet he is missing from the account. Why? Daniel was apparently away. Might he be a type of the Church? Three times Daniel is called "greatly beloved" (Daniel 9:23; 10:11; 10:19).
Zephaniah's Clue
In Zephaniah 2:2-3 we read:
"Before the decree is issued, or the day passes like chaff, before the Lord's fierce anger comes upon you, before the day of the Lord's anger comes upon you! Seek the Lord, all you meek of the earth, who have upheld His justice. Seek righteousness, seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the day of the Lord's anger."
According to this passage, believers will be hidden in the day of the Lord's anger (cf. Isaiah 26:20-21. See also: Zephaniah 1:7.)
Malachi's Hint
Malachi chapter 3 deals with the Day of the Lord. Interestingly, Malachi 3:18 implies two comings of the Messiah: "Then shall ye (believers) return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not." It becomes clear when we read the entire context of Malachi 3 that believers shall return to the earth. In order to return and discern, believers must have first been caught away to Heaven.
Other Examples
Isaac and Rebekah, as well as Ruth and Boaz, also provide beautiful pictures of Christ taking a Gentile bride — one who counts the cost and leaves their own family — but is not required to suffer through great tribulation or famine. Other examples could be expounded on, but these should be sufficient to show that Christians will be removed before God's wrath is poured out and most likely before the 70th Week of Daniel.

The Children are Ready

Oh WOW. If ever a short little video gave me goosebumps and watery eyes, it's this one. The next temple to stand in Jerusalem will be the one spoken of in the Tribulation. The Temple Institute has EVERYTHING ready to go, the garments, the huge golden menorah, the cornerstone is cut, and even red heifers have been born recently, a very rare occurrence, of which their ashes are used to ceremonially cleanse the temple.

All they need is the green light to build on the Temple Mount...

Greg Laurie & The Four Horsemen

This past weekend, Greg Laurie gave an awesome sermon about the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.  If you'd like to see it, you can click:

http://www.harvest.org/webcast/flvplayer.php?id=1426&jid=8451

If that doesn't take you right to it, go to http://www.harvest.org and search for the recent Four Horsemen sermon given on July 22nd, 2012.  It's an hour long sermon, but its very good.  I've always enjoyed Greg Laurie, and I've been to a few of his Harvest Crusades in Anaheim.  He's an excellent speaker and I enjoy his sense of humor.

But he's right -- this world is getting uglier and darker by the day.

Here's a video from my good friend Scottie Clarke, better known on YouTube as EternalRhythmFlow. Christ did elude to the Rapture (the Resurrection) in John 11 and he shares that with us, cross-referencing with 1 Thessalonians 4 -- as well as the Resurrection prophesied in Isaiah. Enjoy!

May 28, 2012: Pastor Mark Biltz: Signs in the Heavens

This is a LOOONG teaching, 1hr. 20min., but it's fascinating watching Pastor Mark Biltz go through the meanings of the stars/constellations, as well as the patterns of eclipses and transits that are currently taking place, until a creshendo of celestial events in 2015.

Is God trying to get our attention? Genesis 1:14: And God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years"

If you watch this, watch until the end. You'll have to know some things about the Jewish calendar, Jewish tradition, and Jewish reading of the Torah scrolls in order to follow along without confusion, but it's just fascinating none-the-less.  Give it a watch.

Mid-East Prophecy Update - June 3rd, 2012

I haven't posted in awhile, as I've been down and out with cellulitis in my right leg/foot for many weeks, but I'm finally better now! This is an excellent update from Pastor JD about how the possible further fulfillment of Isaiah 19 and Daniel 11 could be forthcoming with Egypt's soon-to-be-held elections.

We are closer to our salvation now than we were first believed (Romans 13:11).

Netanyahu Addresses AIPAC 2012 (3.5.12)

War is coming. I don't think that can be avoided now. The question then becomes: Is THIS the war prophesied about in Ezekiel 38? And if Ez. 38, Psalms 83, and Isaiah 17:1 are so close to fulfillment, how close is the Rapture?

Obviously we don't know for certain. But it wouldn't hurt to get your house in order.

Christ will return for His Church. He told us to be awake. To watch for Him. Many, many generations of Christians have looked forward to the Catching Away before us. However I honestly believe it is this generation who is the most likely to fly. Everything the Bible mentions in the book of Daniel, Ezekiel, and Revelation can now come to pass with our modern technology.

The ONLY thing holding the Tribulation back, in my opinion, is the fact that the Restrainer (the Church/Holy Spirit) hasn't been taken out of the way. (2 Thessalonians 2:7)

Whatever is coming, Rapture or war, get ready, folks. Seriously.

Bible Codes 2012

Bible Codes 2012: Christians and Jews share the first five books of the Bible. Jews call that the Torah, the sacred scrolls revered in every synagogue in the world. They believe they contain the words of God given directly to Moses roughly 33-hundred years ago. But now a group of researchers says hidden within those words may be messages for us about this year -- 2012.

~*~

Very interesting news piece on the Torah Codes. I have no idea if these things are legit, but it seems to be studied by more than just "religious zealots" who want the Torah to say what they want it to say. We shall find out soon enough if anything happens this year...

Mid-East Prophecy Update, February 26th 2012

In this prophecy update, pastor JD talks about the perilous problem in Syria and the far reaching implications for the United States.

He also goes into some persecution of Franklin Graham that happened this week. I happened to see that and was saddened as well. I support Samaritan's Purse and their work in the Sudan. The reporters should have been worried about THAT, not about whether or not Graham believes Obama is Christian. Shame on those reporters for cornering Graham and then hounding him again and again on the subject. People are dying in the Sudan, folks. They're deliberately bombing orphanages and Bible schools and churches that Samaritan's Purse has built.

Who cares if Obama's Christian? Save some lives and do some good in this evil world!

Mid-East Prophecy Update - January 29th, 2012

Pastor JD approaches today's prophecy update a little differently by taking an apologetic posture, as it relates to prophetic scripture. In so doing, he presents the defense of the more sure word of prophecy as to why we can be so certain that we are the final generation at the time the rapture.

Answer for Christians Who Question "Why" We Want Christ to Return

Many of you have mentioned that when you witness about Christ's close return, some Christians say He won't come for years while others ask why you would ever long for such a thing (usually giving a "magnanimous" word about bringing in the lost and whatnot, thus appearing as if they have a heart for the lost and not a heart for staying in this world...)

Why would we dare to long for our Lord?

Philippians 1:6 is our answer.
And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

Our salvation was only BEGUN on the cross.  We are now adopted in the family of God.  We are His children through the sacrifice of His Son and no one can snatch us out of His hand.  BUT, our salvation is not fully realized -- UNTIL the Day of His Coming, when WE SHALL BE LIKE HIM.

1 John 3:2:
Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is.

AMEN!  How could we NOT want our Lord to come again?!  Our salvation isn't yet complete.  Our glorification is the final step of what He began on the cross.  That's what "He who has begun a good work in you will complete it" MEANS!  Our salvation isn't complete until we are LIKE HIM.

And we won't be like Him until the Resurrection.

And the Resurrection is the RAPTURE!!

Folks, the only way we can live in Heaven and see Him face to face is to be glorified.  That is the final step in our salvation story.  Christ must complete our salvation, just like He promised.  Completing salvation has nothing to do with "getting holy" or "becoming more like Him", it's quite literally our transformation into our glorified, heavenly bodies.

Come, Lord Yeshua!  Complete our salvation in You!!  \O/

Mid-East Prophecy Update January 8th 2012

Pastor JD thinks we're very close to the Rapture, according to current events compared with prophecy. It's obvious that with rising tensions right now, that war could be on the horizon between Iran and... everyone else. If this IS the prophecy of Ezekiel 38 coming to pass, then we must fall back on what we know --

The Lord's return will be like a thief in the night -- people will be drinking, eating, planting, sowing; it will be business as usual. How much longer do we have "business as usual" before a conflict breaks out?

A New Global Economic Restructuring

Uhm... okay, this video is rather disturbing. In it, a man is supposedly the go-between of the "higher ups" in various financial and gov't positions talking about a new global economy and "paradigm shift" of spiritual proportions.

We can all see this coming on the horizon, but the fact that they're calling this a "spiritual ascension" freaks me out a bit. Could be this is a hoax video. But I'm not so sure. The guy is right, the Pope, the President, and other "higher ups" have mentioned that we need to do something to preserve our way of life, both economically speaking, and apparently, "spiritually" speaking, into a "New World Order".

But watch out, folks, if this "new" economy goes global. Especially watch out if they require you to take a mark in your right hand or forehead. If they do, DO NOT TAKE IT!!!

The end is no longer nigh, the end is here and we've GOT to wake up. YESHUA. IS. COMING.

Get your house in order!!
